GLOBAL PROJECTS
Partnership with The Noor Project
“….And whoever saves one soul – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely….” Quran 5:32
The COVID crisis has truly impacted communities far and wide as a global pandemic. But, what happens when the poor were poor to begin with, and now have even scarcer opportunities to leave their homes, gather food, and a lesser ability to actually make money to feed their families.
I am blessed with a network of strong women through Book, Brunch and Beyond, a group of women who join together to discuss important topics, learn cultures through cuisine, and think of ways to go beyond and give back to the community.
ONE initiative that we are hoping you turn your attention to is the Noor Project. A reputable 501(c)(3) organization with an orphanage and a school, and so much more. PLEASE consider donating and learning more about the organization through this LINK.

Local projects
Cornerstone
I wanted to share great news about a local organization in NJ doing amazing things about the refugee population that get particularly impacted when emergencies like COVID and financial market issues occur.
Cornerstone led by community member Suzy Ismail works with refugee families and several mothers who offer catering.
If you would like to support in offering food or monetary support, or order catering from the refugee women:
If there are other community projects or initiatives, you would like to get the word out on, please reach out!
Giving Back
There is no shortage of work that you can find locally or globally that can save a life. Reach out and let’s talk about things that interest you and causes that you have always been interested in. I would love to help you identify an organization or group related to that and work together to give back.
